Ruby by the month – 6 months

I’ve got two strikes against me this month:

1) This post is nearly a week late.

2) My cute little “I am _ months” sign…. yeah, apparently 5 months was the last time that was gonna work.

Finally got some stats for our little peanut.  She’s 14 pounds and 26 inches.   Tall and skinny like her Daddy and her sister.  Although she’s a whole pound bigger than Isla was at the same age.

She’s sitting and crawling and putting e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. in her mouth.  Still no teeth yet, but the world is convinced that one is gonna pop out any second.  She loves loves loves to eat, still sleeps like a champ (11 hours the past two nights, whoo hoo!), and thinks her big sister is the best.  She recently learned how to play peek-a-boo with her blanket and loves to give kisses – although if you didn’t know it, you’d think she was just attacking you and trying to eat your face/shoulder/whatever body part she’s kissing off.  She’s a cuddle bug but also loves to just play by herself on the floor, and when she’s ready to be picked up, she’ll crawl over to you and blow raspberries at you til you pick her up.  She pretty much loves everybody, but has started reaching for me when she’s tired, hungry or overstimulated… actually half the time she doesn’t reach, she just launches her whole body in my direction.

She’s such a sweet, laid back baby…  we are so thankful to have her in our family!

  1. go on mother, it is your time to see your achievements, first it was Isla, and now Ruby, the best achievement for a mother is her kids, the best achievement for a lady is being a great mother, and for a gentleman is being a great father

  2. hey guys are you ok?
i was at my university when every thing happened
i think it is away from you, but wanted to know your ok, you may be too much scared

      • thank you am great, we are used to these stuff, they dont scare us, but what really leave a pain in the heart, is the large number of innocent victims, even some school children were in the havoc, they still hav seen none of the world, what is their fault so that the first veiws they have of the world include bombs and explosions
